UC Davis · Center For Companion Animal Health & Comparative Genomics

GLP completed this project for the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine to create a world-class facility and resource to improve the health, longevity and quality of life for horses, dogs, cats, birds and other “companion pets”. The building is joined to an existing building via a second story pedestrian bridge, with building materials of masonry block, curving curtain walls and metal panels. The first floor of the building contains clinic spaces, exam rooms, animal holding areas and treatment spaces (including a linear accelerator for the treatment of cancer in animals), with research labs, offices and conferencing facilities on the second floor.

Project Area: 36,000 sf

Cost: $11M
