The ChEM-H & SNI building is a new 235,000 SF, four-story laboratory building to support combined interdisciplinary research initiatives for the Stanford Chemistry, Engineering & Medicine for Human Health Institute and the Stanford Neurosciences Institute. The building will provide an interdisciplinary community investigating neuroscience, chemistry, engineering and medicine. With a flexible laboratory building designed to enhance research interaction. Research labs are designed to be flexible and reconfigurable. The design emphasizes transparency and interactivity, with multiple lounge, meeting and vertical circulation zones. GLP served as lab planner with Ennead Architects for this project.

Project is being built to LEED® standards. Expected completion date: 2019

Listed as one of Engineering News Record's California Top Starts of 2016.
