UC Davis Targeted Genomics Remodeling, Building M-3
Animal Resource Services
Davis, CA

Project work on this small animal facility involved converting an existing animal housing facility into a barrier lab and breeding facility for research using transgenic mice. Lab space for micro-injection and tissue culture purposes was created by removing concrete partitions in the west portion of the building, with related changes to flooring and room finishes, and installation of lab casework and equipment. Existing animal rooms were upgraded to allow the use of proprietary micro-isolator caging racks.
